Technorati’s Upcoming Tour To Break New Record. According to insiders, Madonna’s – which is to begin this month on the west coast and continue through out the summer in several North American and European cities as well as two dates in Japan – is said to earn her an estimated $185 million, making her the highest earning female artist in the world. Britain’s Sunday Telegraph newspaper reports that the Confessions On A Dancefloor tour, which includes 54 dates in three months, is about half the size of global tours mounted by bands such as U2 and the Rolling Stones, but because ticket prices go from $57 to over $300, Madonna will be racking in a hefty paycheck anyway. In the first four days of ticket sales, the singer sold out 28 shows - in New York, Paris, London, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami. These new photos were shot by the talented Steven Klein for the stylish magazine W, you can see more pictures [right here] and those are rumoured to represent one of the themes for her tour (clothes designed by Jean Paul Gaultier).
