Courses in Beijing taught by BNP Paribas General Manager Asia, CEO of Translucidmedia and His Excellency Ambassador of France in China - Back in Spring 2003, I was lucky enough to be chosen among 50 other students from France to participate in a very unique and interesting management program around the world. The concept of that intercultural and international management program was to help us become consultant "juniors" through 250 hours of courses in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, International Law, Investment, Management (and so much more) taught not only by MBA teachers but most importantly by CEOs of companies and managers of French well-known companies installed in China, Vietnam and California. I remember, as a teacher in strategic Asian marketing, I had Mrs lucy XU who's a PR and Communication Manager for Christian Dior Couture in Hong Kong, as a business law teacher I had Mr Lemiesle, jurist from the number one law office Gide Loyrette Nouel (Beijing), as a logistics teacher Mr Gilles REY who's the Supply Chain Operations Manager for whole Asia for KIABI (Shanghai), etc. I was so lucky to meet in such a short period of time (6 intensive months) managers and CEO's from IKEA, SONY EPIC Music, Universal music, Translucidmedia Shanghai, Carrefour Shanghai, Citic Group, Deloitte, BNP Paribas, Société Générale, JP Morgan Chase, LVMH Perfume, etc and besides those 250 hours of core courses, 180 hours of mandatory extra curricular activities such as visits of 30 of the most incredible Chinese monuments (The Forbidden Imperial City, Tea Temple, Great Wall, The House of the Concubines, The Sun temple, the Mings Tombs, zoos, ancient factories of pottery and Chinese best porcelain, The Perl Tower, etc there so many I cannot cite all of them!). The 6 months program is organized by Senior Consultants, under the high patronage of French President Mr , and has chosen 6 towns of study and they are: San Diego (San Diego University), Beijing (only seminars with CEO's at the Beijing Opera Hotel and we actually had the honor of staying at that hotel the whole period!), Shanghai (Fudan University - the 3rd best University of China), Hong Kong and Hanoi (Vietnam) and Paris (of course!). I have like 2 Go of photos and videos that are on my CD Roms and I will definitely post the most relevant videos on my blog in the months to come whenever I feel like doing it. As a second and thrid video, here are when we visited The Great Wall in Beijing and the ancient town of Suzhou. What I really liked about this whole business trip beside all the economic and cultural aspects is I made some great friends over there and especially one of my very very best friend Simon! (coucou ti simus si tu passes par ici!)
