Little Children : Patrick Wilson the new discovery !

I first discovered Patrick Wilson in the horrible (yet very interesting) movie "Hard Candy" in which he plays a photographer of 34 years old captured and tortured by a silly and dangerous little teenage girl. It was a very clever huis-clos which plays with your nerves.

Then I always wanted to see Kate Winslet in "Little Children" and I did not realize he was playing in it too!

After seeing that movie which in my opinion is a good one (perfect photography, sexual intense scenes, sexual tension thoughout the whole movie, etc). The plot is well set and the suspense is inherent to the whole movie. One thing that is great is that this movies deals with theme that you often don't get to see in those big hollywood pictures films : sexual orientation, sexual temptation to cheat on your husband/wife, sexual depravation etc... not that it's gone that far, but still all those themes and underlying the movie. Oh and i forgot : hypocrisy. Very well pictured here. I have to say Patrick Wilson should be more well-known. I hope he's gonna do more movies in the future (I saw he's gonna play with Carice Van Houten - the lead actress from my fave movie Black Book -) and i'm really happy. I discovered he's not just an actor but he can actually sing and broadway sings :

Truly, Patrick Wilson is a rare find (and ladies, there's a scene in Little Children, you will enjoy for sure).
