I think this is a good cover for her second single off "Back 2 Basics". I'm impressed with Christina because she's doing her thang and she's doing it with passion, seriousness and a certain sense of artistry that I didn't see before with her work. Though she's not the biggest voice nor the most perfect voice on earth, she manages to release an album filled with strong melodies, tolerable (sometimes good) lyrics which makes her a credible artist/writer, and her voice on the album is impeccable. What I like now in fact, a fact that really puts her in a whole new category and that really sets her apart from the rest of the cheap r&b/pop singers, is that she has style, she shows style and she's determined to really present her musical work in the most detailed and perfect way: videos and photoshoots. Her "Ain't No Other Man" video was absolutely awesome, the photoshoots she's done for this B2B project are refined as hell and extremely sophisticated. It's liek she's learned all that from Madonna herself. I'm sure Madonna is proud of Christina Aguilera. Now, to come back on the initial topic, this cover for "Hurt" is another proof she's doing things the right way (Ellen Von Unwerth is amazing anyway, and her work with Janet on The Velvet Rope was just pure artistry too) unlike Janet who's apparently hired Mariah Carey's photoshop retoucher to make her look younger and thinner. Too bad, miss janet because your pictures are nothing but plain vulgar and banal... Try again!

je pensais que c'était "candyman" le deuxième single? Bon, "Hurt" est pas mal mais c'est une ballade quoi

après une chanson rytmée en general on propose une ballade. Mais Candyman est tellement bien que je le verrais bien sortir un jour, sinon en ballade MOTHER est excellent, très urban.

Je suis fière de Christina car la black music style jazz, soul c'est vraiment ce que j'aime. D'ailleurs je me demande pourquoi je n'ai aps encore acheté l'album !

Moi j'aime beaucoup Here To Stay, j'ai beaucoup aimé la version de la pub Pepsi et je trouve la version de l'album assez plate, j'espère vraiment que la version plus étoffée de la pub Pepsi sortira en single prochainement...Candyman je la trouve assez culcul perso, c'est la moins bien de l'album je trouve, on dirait une pâle copie du Mambo no5 de Lou Bega, je trouve que ça ne colle pas du tout à l'atmosphère jazzy/groovy/cabaret du reste de l'album...c'est juste mon avis bien entendu;-) Longue vie à Christina Aguilera, je me réjouis déjà du concert!
