Nothing better after a good movie than to celebrate the moment with a refine dinner at a restaurant not so far from the theatre that would answer the following basic requirements: well-situated, good music, simple yet sophisticated but at the same time minimalist design, good beers, excellent food (with the always necessary and insolent touch of originality and audacity). So we went tonight to the Technorati restaurant and ordered some good food and good beers. As always, we were pleasantly welcomed and the food was good. Don't believe the jealous people who wrote nasty things about the place saying it's the total achievement of Marketing in its pure definition and meaning that as a negative aspect of the place, but hey, what ain't marketing nowadays? lol:)) Technorati (and this is my second article on the place - read article here) is a totally high standing & affordable place. It may not be as "hype" as it could be, but no one really cares about "hype" when the food is so good and refine. Right here, on pictures I took (on the right) you have:
1) Trio de Blanche:
  • Tomatade de chèvre en brioche
  • Marinade de pétoncles et crevettes, aux graines de grenade et agrumes
  • Roulé de saumon fumé et sa crème aux herbes fraîches (x3)
2) Trio de Brune:
  • Poulet sauté, chutney de mangue
  • Caviar d'aubergines, Tiges italliennes au sésame (grissini) (x4)
  • Salade de lentilles et gésiers de volaille confits
3) Trio d'Ambrée:
  • Navette de jambon de pays et fromage aux herbes (x3)
  • Salade fraîche de gambas au gingembre confits
  • Roulés de poivrons grillés et anchois marinés (x3)
4) Trio de Blonde:
  • Mousse de Munster au cumin et son petit pain
  • Mini cake salés aux olives noires (x3)
  • Salade de légumes confits "façon italienne"
... and the coffee (expresso) is good also. And that is very important to me.
