Exclusif: Janet Jackson's movie RHYTHM NATION 1814 (vlog)

In 1989, Janet Jackson

rocketed the charts with her concept album "The Rhythm Nation 1814" releasing 7 consecutive TOP 5 singles from that same album on the Billboard chart and placing the album in the top 40 for 24 months (2 years). Those 7 songs were: Escapade, Miss You Much, Rhythm Nation, Black Cat, Love Will Never Do Without You, Alright and Come Back To Me. 4 of them went to number one and they are (correct me if I'm wrong): Miss You Much, Escapade, Love Will Never Do Without You, and Rhythm Nation. Believe me, she could have also released 2 other songs and have 9 consecutive top 5 songs from one album because : "Living In A World (They Didn't Make)" was one hell amazing ballad with a social concern for kids, so emotional and the piano is just amazing, and "Someday Is Tonight" is such a sexy song you could make baby on it, it's the "mother" song from "Any Time Any Place" which was released 4 years later as a single in the "Janet." era (1994) and was a top 10 song.

Anyway, Janet by the time of The Rhythm Nation 1814 was really huge, and so successful her famous bro wanted to copy her so much for his Dangerous album (what a pathetic title right?). She began to be successful with the "Control" album (1986) with firece songs like "Nasty" , "What Have You Done For Me Lately", "When I Think Of You", "The Pleasure Principle", "Control" which proves she was THE jackson, the only one with an edge!

Here she is in her movie at a section called "THE KNOWLEDGE" (yes that's a part of her movie, all in black & white) dancing her ass off. Plus you have to read the lyrics of the song, it's amazingly deep:
