Comme tous ceux qui ont bon goût, une grande culture musicale et un sens très affiné de la musique, Burt Bacharach est tombé complètement amoureux de Barbra Streisand

(enfin, artistiquement parlant), comme il l'explique très bien dans ce mini concert télévisé où la jeune Streisand (d'un charme à tomber!) reprend ses plus grands tubes (à sa façon, avec son caractère, son audace, et son tempérament). La voix de Barbra Streisand dépasse le niveau de l'excellence. Sydney Pollack, Dustin Hoffman, Clint Eastwood, Robin Williams, Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, John Travolta, Warren Beatty, Shirley Mc Laine, Jack Nicholson, Elizabeth Taylor, Ben Stiller, et tellement, tellement d'autres artistes partagent cette adoration sans bornes pour l'Artiste qu'est Barbra Streisand et elle n'a pas volé sa réputation. Ne pas aimer Streisand, ne pas savoir apprécier son travail est une faute grave de mauvais goût. Le mélange des plus belles compositions de Burt Bacharach (je parle de lui plus en détail un peu plus loin dans ce post, en anglais) avec la qualité exceptionnelle de la plus grande interprète et artiste au monde ne peut donner qu'un résultat des plus exquis et des plus raffiné. On est ici en présence de génies. Deux génies musicaux. Deux artistes qui sont des légendes vivantes aujourd'hui. La vidéo est assez lourde à charger (et je vais probablement dans la semaine - si je trouve du temps - couper la vidéo en 2 ou 3 parties, et tout reposter dans un nouveau topic, afin d'alléger la lecture, mais en attendant, le plus simple est de procéder comme indiqué ci-contre et de prendre son mal en patience, pour un ADSL de 1 Mo, il faut attendre environ 30 à 45 minutes pour télécharger la vidéo au complet) et nécessitera beaucoup de patience, mais cela en vaut vraiment vraiment la peine, tellement la voix est divine.

for you). Burt Bacharach won an amazing 4 Oscars (Academy Awards) and 7 Grammy Awards. He's behing the success of Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, and the Carpenters. Among other things. And seeing Burt discussing music with Barbra Streisand here around a piano, asking Barbra to sing some of his momst amazing songs, is just a joyful experience for me and I hope I can give you also that same pleasure. Excellence is rare nowadays, so enjoy this video, put yourself in a comfortable sofa or chair, take something to drink, just relax and play the video: this is a musical invitation I'm throwing at you via my blog "Culture MP3 ". Don't be silly to ignore this because this is tooooo geeeewwwwwd. Of course, this will depend on your level of sensitivity to great music and your level of knowledge in music will be very useful here, but still, I'm convinced that a simple nobody person can appreciate this mini concert as much as I did. On a personal note, I've never seen Barbra Streisand that good looking. I mean, damn, she's f**** hot in here. She's hot, she's luscious, she's sexy, totally woman, extremely funny and clever and she has charm. Man!!!! (so much more charming than those silly bimbos out there nowadays trying to seduce people with bras and thongs, duh! how banal can you be?). This is a masterpiece video, and If you haven't seen this, then in my humble opinion, you're so out of touch. I'm just saying. lol. Hearing and seeing her singing "One Less Bell (To Answer) / A House Is Not A Home" is like a gift from God. The lyrics are so touching and moving. Read them!! Babs never sounded that good and emotional. And those blue eyes of her! Achhhh, I'm getting all verklemmt!!
